Helsinki Challenge Impact Evening
The world is facing huge problems - we at Helsinki Challenge believe science can solve them. The science based idea competition Helsinki Challenge was organised for the first time in 2015. Last year teams of people from academia and society put their heads together and came up with solutions for the world’s looming challenges. Join us at Helsinki Challenge Impact Evening and meet amazing Challenge teams on the stage!
It’s been a long journey from the Helsinki Challenge Award Gala in November 2015 to the today, and the teams have been busy. Development of the world’s first operational offset market mechanism to prevent the reduction of the global biodiversity of nature. The sleep application and motivational and empowering virtual sleep program to help adolescents to learn about their sleep and their circadian rhythm. The prototype of the sense sleeve which enables transmitting emotions without seeing the other person. The smartphone application, which would help consumers to know whether the product is safe for a pregnant mother and her baby. These and many other amazing solutions have been developed further during the past months. Join the Helsinki Challenge Impact Evening for more inspiring stories! Teams on the stage Biodiversity Now, Generation Green, Helsinki Sleep Factory, NEMO and Safepreg.
